Quebec Investor Immigration Program

The Quebec immigration program is intended to provide opportunities for people from overseas to come to Canada with a net worth of at least $1,600,000 CAD and invest $800,000 CAD to the federal government for the next five years. The applicant will receive a refund of $800,000 CAD after five years for the investment, but with no interest. Speak to a Canadian immigration expert about your options.

In order for the applicant to be eligible, the applicant:

1. The net worth of the business must be at least $1,600,000 Canadian dollars. If the applicantâs spouse will be accompanying him, then this amount may include assets they own together. However, any money received as a donation will not be included.
2. Two years of managerial experience within the last 5 years since application submission. You must have management experience in:
A. Legally owned and operated farm, factory, or business.
B. An applicant must be employed in a legal professional business that has at least two full-time employees, excepting the applicant's position; or
C. A government agency or agency of an international organization.
3. In order to participate in the Quebec Investor Program, the applicant must intentionally settle in Quebec and sign an agreement specifying their investment of $800,000 CAD with a financial intermediary authorized to participate.

Applicants can invest $800,000 in a government-guaranteed framework, where the Canadian government holds the money for five years before returning it to the applicant with zero interest. Investment revenues generated by the program are used to help other Quebec assistance programs for immigrants and minorities.

Assessment of applications will take into account factors such as age, language proficiency, training, and education. The government of Quebec will issue a Quebec Selection Certificate to successful applicants. Following that, the QSC should be submitted with another application to be submitted to the federal government for the essential final review regarding admissibility and for issuing the Canadian permanent resident visa.

Prior to the official evaluation, the application will be evaluated in a preliminary manner to ensure that it is complete. Those who meet the criteria of evaluation are then interviewed by the government after their applications are evaluated. Interviewers will ask about a candidate's assets, legal status, and other relevant information acquisition of those assets, the investor agreement, and their management experience.
