The Latest Express Entry Draw CRS score has dropped to 496.

In the recent Express Entry draw, the CRS score has dropped to 496. After almost two years of waiting, the Comprehensive Ranking Score dropped to 400s. It is for the first time since the All-program Express Entry draw resumed on July 6.

In the last draw of 2020, the CRS score was 468 which was quite low compared to the latest draw with a CRS score of 496. Initially, IRCC invited candidates with the highest CRS cut-off (557) but kept dropping the CRS score by 8-9 points.

From a few Express Entry draws CRS cut-off is falling by 3-4 points. Now reached a 496 CRS score on October 26, 2022.

On 26th October, Canada held its Ninth all-program Express Entry draw.

As the CRS cut-off is decreasing one after the other, chances are that invitations will increase. And to increase the number of invitations, Canada has to lower the CRS cut off.

Canada has a target of welcoming 55,900 immigrants in 2022 through Express Entry. Between January to August, Canada issued PR to 28,000 Express Entry Candidates.

What is the latest update on Express Entry Draw?

  • Express Entry CRS cutoff is expected to fall in the coming weeks. It has already dropped to 500 and increased invitations.

  • The target of Canada welcoming 431,645 immigrants in the country will require IRCC to decrease the CRS cutoff. Additionally, Canada has over 1 million jobs available that are highly demanding.

  • A low CRS cutoff strengthens your chances of receiving an ITA from Canada.

Soon, Express Entry invitations will also change the way of inviting candidates. Invitations will be based on specific factors such as work experience, educational background or language skills. In such a case, if the requirement is for a Tech profile, invitations will be sent to the person whose profile meets the Tech profile requirements in terms of specific education, language skill or other.
