Latest Express Entry Draw: CRS Cut-Off dropped
The fourth all-program Express Entry draw of the year 2022 since July 6. Canada issued invitations to 2,250 candidates on 8 points lower scores than the third cutoff.

What is different in the Express Entry draw of 17th August
- Fourth cutoff since July 6 and the second cutoff of the month (August 2022)
- Since the first cutoff, Canada has dropped CRS scores by 33 points.
- The first cutoff invited 1500 candidates with a 557 CRS score, and in the fourth cutoff in August, IRCC invited 2,250 candidates with a 525 CRS score.
Drop in Express Entry CutOff in the next draw in 2022!
With every new Express Entry draw, the CRS cutoff has been dropping by 8-9 points. A decline in CRS score and increase in invitations can be seen till now.
- The CRS cutoff dropped by 33 points since the first cutoff was held on July 6.
- It is expected to see a further decrease in CRS cutoffs in the coming Express Entry draws.
- The next expected draw is on 31st August 2022. Based on previous draws, the CRS cutoff score is expected to drop to 516.
The best time to apply for Canada PR is now. Express Entry CRS cutoff scores are declining with each draw. If you begin to arrange documents now, your profile will be ready to receive an invitation in the coming draws.
