1. Post landing, the first step is arrival testing.

2. As per rules, you will have to quarantine yourself at least for 14 days in a different place.
Until your negative covid report comes, you will stay quarantined. You should have all the arrangements beforehand to stay in a place where necessities are accessible during quarantine. And you may not be allowed to let anyone meet you during quarantine.

In order to enter Canada, passengers traveling on these flights must:
Get a negative COVID-19 test report. The test must be performed from a certified laboratory in India and that should not be more than18 hours before departure.
If you pick an indirect route to Canada then a third country must provide the pre-departure negative report to continue the journey.
Note: Some countries may not allow those passengers who previously got a positive covid report. So, carefully ensure all the entry and itinerary requirements before departure.

Countries like Botswana, Egypt, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe are most affected by the Omicron variant. If you have been to any of these countries then you are not allowed to enter Canada till 31st January 2022.
Canadian citizens and permanent residents may be allowed to enter but with strict restrictions. They must have a negative covid report to get entry into Canada or have to get a covid report from the third country by following covid rules.
